Broker seals GM Loan Fund deal

AN insurance company is to hire more staff to target new customers after agreeing a funding deal.

Old Trafford-based J&A Brokers will borrow  £150,000 from The Greater Manchester Loan Fund to hire additional staff in business development roles and provide working capital to help take the business through its next growth phase.
 
Founded in 2009, the business is led by experienced insurance professionals John Greene and Alan Jones. The business, which provides personal and commercial insurance, has amassed a strong client base with high retention rates.
 
It also benefits from being a member of the Willis Commercial Network. As the 4th largest broker in the world, its platform provides J&A with access to specialist schemes and products not normally available to smaller firms.
