Seddon on new on board £25m fit out framework

FAMILY-run building company Seddon has increased its office and leisure fit out pipeline thanks to a £25m framework appointment.
The Bolton-based firm, which has offices across the UK, has been awarded a position on Places for People’s national office and leisure refurbishments and fit out frameworks which will run over three years.
Seddon has enjoyed considerable growth in the sector and has already completed a number of commercial fit outs for Williams BMW, Hyundi and the Cooperative Group.
This latest framework win will see the company tender for work across the property management, development, leisure and regeneration company’s extensive property portfolio.
The company is one of three to be appointed to the framework, which is expected to see £25 million of building repair, refurbishment and fitting out works carried out over the lifetime of the agreement.
Seddon’s chief operating officer Peter Jackson said: “This framework win will see us deliver projects across the country, helping Places for People maintain and improve its extensive portfolio of commercial and leisure facilities.
“This most recent appointment builds on our successes in fit out and refurbishment during 2014 and will help us reinforce our long history of delivering high-quality projects for a range of clients.”
Alan Heron, head of procurement at Places for People, said: “We are delighted to welcome Seddon on to our fit out framework and we look forward to working with them to deliver high-quality office and leisure space that helps our customers meet and exceed their aspirations.”
