More boutique space in city centre

A MANCHESTER city centre office has been unveiled following a comprehensive £3m refurbishment.
The eight-storey building at 26 Cross Street, which provides boutique-style Grade A accommodation, has been relaunched by Catalyst Capital with Bilfinger GVA and OBI Property appointed as leasing advisers.
Designed by 5 Plus Architects, the historic 21,500sq ft building located in the St Ann’s conservation area, has retained its Portland-style façade and period features whilst creating contemporary office space with high level specification including air-conditioning and fully accessible raised floors, benefited by natural light throughout.
Offices are available to let ranging in size from 2,000sq ft to 2,800sq ft, either cellularised or open plan, with access on each floor to WC and shower rooms.
Sarah Cooper, portfolio manager at Catalyst Capital, said: “We are delighted to be working in Manchester again and we are really pleased to launch 26 Cross Street which we believe offers something unique for occupiers seeking offices of distinction within the prime office core.
“We have worked really hard with our full professional team and contractor RG Group to create space which reflects what occupiers are looking for, the level of demand we are encountering at the moment certainly seems to bear this out.”
Christopher Cheap, director at GVA said: “The location and quality of offer at 26 Cross Street are unquestionable and we as a leasing team have absolute belief that the space on offer will appeal to a wide range of occupiers who wish to align their business with office accommodation of this nature.
“There has been a significant amount of anticipation about the unveiling of the space and the feedback so far has all been very good. We hope to make announcements about new tenants within the near future.”
