Workwear maker buys new headquarters

PROTECTIVE workware manufacturer Ballyclare has bought two buildings at South Manchester Hercules Office Park in Cheadle.
It has bought buildings C1 and C2, totalling 10,875sq ft from Royal London Asset Management, managed by Property Alliance Group, through Bilfinger GVA for an undisclosed sum.
Advised by Colliers International, Ballyclare has relocated its headquarters from Stockport town centre to the new larger premises.
Hercules, which is home to NPS Stockport and WNS, consists of eight buildings within landscaped grounds and secure onsite parking.
The office park is prominently positioned at Bird Hall Lane in Cheadle, with access to motorways M60, M56 and M62 within minutes.
David Thwaites of Bilfinger GVA, joint agent with Jones Lang LaSalle at Hercules Business Park, said: “This transaction is one of the most significant within South Manchester and is testament to the high quality accommodation available within Hercules Business Park.
“With a healthy level of demand and few buildings of similar quality available, we are experiencing strong interest in the four remaining buildings and are confident of announcing further arrivals soon.”
