Liverpool homes under the hammer

RESIDENTIAL properties in the Georgian Quarter of Liverpool are up for grabs at an auction in the city soon.

Included is a three-storey Georgian mid-townhouses overlooking Falkner Square Gardens, close to Liverpool University and the city centre. It is currently arranged as six self-contained flats producing £40,000 a year and has a guide price of £400,000.

Meanwhile, a mixed use investment on Myrtle Street comprising five letting rooms and a ground floor retail unit generating £40,980 per annum is guided at £400,000 plus.

Elsewhere, a substantial four storey plus basement Georgian style end townhouse on Great Mersey Street, off Stanley Road, has a guide of between £160,000 and £175,000.

Also going under the hammer is a mixed used investment on the corner of Smithdown Road and Rossett Avenue in Liverpool. The property comprises a tenanted hot food takeaway plus two large flats currently producing approximately £45,243 per annum. The guide is £290,000 plus.  

Other highlights include a three storey, five bedroom end of terrace house on Sunbourne Road in Aigburth which includes central heating with a guide price of £100,000 plus.

In total 92 lots will be offered by auction house Sutton Kersh at the auction which takes place at the Titanic Hotel, Stanley Dock, Liverpool, starting at noon on Wednesday, June 3.
