Holiday park up for grabs for £2.25m

A HOLIDAY park in Cumbria with 188 static caravan pitches has been put up for sale for £2.25m.

Real estate adviser Colliers International has been instructed to offlaod Manor House Park in Allonby on behalf of longstanding owners the Brooks family.

The park occupies 5.5 hectares (13.7 acres) which also has hardstanding pitches for 20 touring caravans and an impressive bar and restaurant.

Manor House Park has spectacular views and is located on the outskirts of the tourist village of Allonby in West Cumbria and in the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between the seaside towns of Maryport and Silloth.

Richard Moss, head of Parks Agency at Colliers International, is undertaking the sale on behalf of the Brooks family.

He said: “Manor House Park offers an outstanding investment opportunity. The site occupies a prime location between Maryport and Silloth, offers panoramic views of Scotland’s Solway Coast across the Solway Firth, is close to many amenities and the sandy beach of Allonby Bay and just a short distance from the many tourist attractions of Cumbria and the Lake District – all a huge draw for potential customers.”
