Media mix: Firework wins legal brief; IF & more

KNUTSFORD communications agency Firework PR has been handed a year-long brief by Warrington legal firm FDR Law.
The team is to develop a proactive brand building campaign to raise awareness of the firm and communicate its experience, expertise and passion.
FDR has 110 staff and offices in Warrington, Stockton Heath and Frodsham.
Chief executive Oliver Burton said: “We had reached a point where we felt we needed to increase the awareness of the FDR Law brand further, our expertise and the impressive portfolio of our legal services.
“Following a tendering process we were really impressed with the creative ideas that Firework developed and how quickly they got to grips with our heritage and why trust is, in our opinion, such an important part of our story. The team has relevant legal sector knowledge which was pivotal in our decision as well as a strong Cheshire network and good national media contacts to deliver the spread and reach we’re looking to achieve.”
Clare Wall, director of Firework PR added: “Our team has some great experience in this sector and we’re very much looking forward to raising the profile of FDR Law across the North West. The campaign will feature a combination of traditional and digital media channels to build awareness of the firm, its passion for service and the trustworthy expert legal advice it offers.”

RADIO production company Made in Manchester has been commissioned to make a 26 part series for CBeebies Radio which brings the phonic alphabet to life for young children.
Sounds Like This is the brainchild of writer and author Robert Rigby whose other children’s writing credits include Thomas The Tank Engine and Byker Grove.
Each episode is around 5 minutes long and sees Robert and co-presenter Amy Enticknap examine the phonic sounds of each letter of the alphabet in story and song.
MIM Creative Director Ashley Byrne said: “We’re delighted to get this commission and to be able to work with the very talented Robert Rigby.
“He’s a great storyteller and has not only written the episodes and composed the music and songs but performs them as well. It’s a series which will really help young children get to grips with the sounds of the alphabet.’
The series was ordered by Johnny Leagas, executive producer, CBeebies Radio based at Media City.
Rigby said: “I hugely enjoyed creating and performing Sounds Like This. I hope the listeners to CBeebies Radio have as much fun listening to the songs and stories as Amy and I did when recording them.”
