Recruiter Sellick on crest of wave

MANCHESTER-headquartered finance and legal recruitment specialist Sellick Partnership has reported a sharp rise in profits and revenue for the year ended February 2015.

With all business areas exceeding expectations, audited results show turnover grew by 17.5% to £30.2m, and net fee income grew by 7% in line with budget.

These figures are reflected in the EBITDA which rose significantly to £705,000, up from £390,000 in 2014.

Over the last year, Sellick Partnership has placed more than 1,000 contractors into both legal and financial roles across the UK, within both the public and private sectors – hitting their targets throughout the year.

In addition it has expanded its presence in the legal market with the opening of a new London office, with the aim of developing the Sellick Partnership brand within the in-house market across London and the Home Counties, on both a permanent and interim basis.

Managing director Jo Sellick said: “I am delighted with the results for 2015, and with the figures for quarter one looking strong we are definitely in line to achieve our 2015/16 targets.

“Our markets are extremely busy and demand is high for the top talent – in order to meet this demand we are recruiting across all offices to ensure that we continue to offer the best recruitment service.

“Over the last year we have invested significantly in our infrastructure, our training programme and our employees which has enabled us to build a solid platform to continue our growth plans in the medium term. This investment was recently recognised when we were listed in the top 100 Best Places to Work in the UK, by the Great Places to Work Institute – a massive achievement for the business.”

In addition to Manchester and London, Sellick Partnership’s other offices are in Liverpool, Leeds, East Midlands, Leeds, Midlands and Newcastle.
