WHR on a high with series of lettings

WHR Property Consultants has secured more than 140,000sq ft of new office instructions in the last three months, which has seen the Manchester-based company expanding its reach in the regional centres including Liverpool and Chester.

New instructions include an appointment by CEG to dispose of 50,000sq ft of vacant office space at 60 Old Hall Street in Liverpool city centre and two new instructions from Real Estate IM to market 2,440sq ft at No 1 Ridgefield on King Street in Manchester city centre and 23,000sq ft at Chester Business Park.

Rupert Barron, Partner at WHR Property Consultants, said: “WHR has always enjoyed a strong reputation within the city centre office and South Manchester markets but we have been keen to grow our business in the other satellite towns and cities for a while now and are pleased that we have been able to achieve this objective across the Region.”

WHR has also boosted its office team by recruiting Oliver Woodhall who has joined as a graduate surveyor.  Woodhall’s appointment follows on from the recent appointment of Mark Cooke as senior surveyor.

Barron said: “The property market is going through an exciting period and we now have a strong team of six that is, along with our colleagues in other departments, well equipped to handle the increasing occupier providing expert knowledge and informed advice to our clients.”
