Rothschild in regional wealth management drive

ROTHSCHILD, the financial advisory business, is expanding its wealth management offering to the North West.

It has recruited Peter Hindle, a former corporate lawyer from DLA Piper, who moved into private banking eight years ago when he joined Credit Suisse in Manchester.

Hindle  joins as a director to lead a new team for the organisation’s wealth management business, based in Manchester.

He has more than 15 years’ experience in the finance and wealth management industry and began his career at Addleshaw Goddard (1998 –2005).

Hindle is based at Rothchild’s King Street office and will report to Helen Watson, head of UK wealth management.

Watson said: “Rothschild’s focus on preserving and growing the wealth of some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurial families, foundations and charities, combined with a distinctive investment approach has seen assets in the UK treble in the last five years to some £7bn today.

“Peter’s experience and network will play a key role in meeting the increasing demand for our wealth management services in the North West, and we are delighted that he has joined us.”

Rothschild’s wealth management & trust business’ principal offices are in Frankfurt, London and Zurich. It has €17.9bn in assets under management and clients have an average €5m in investable assets.
