War veterans to benefit from televised renovation

A PROPERTY developer’s renovation of eight dilapidated homes in the Newton Heath area of Manchester for veterans of military conflict is to be filmed for TV’s DIY SOS: The Big Build.

The project by Kier Homes, which will take place over 12 days as filming takes place, also includes a Walking With The Wounded advice and therapy centre.

This coincides with Kier’s expansion of its Living division with £55m of new contracts across the north from the Southdale novation process.

The 17 new contracts range from 15 up to 100 units across the North West and Yorkshire.
