Marketing agency takes next steps for growth

ONLINE marketing agency Digital Next is not ruling out the possibility of further acquisitions as it continues its aggressive growth strategy.

Operating from Manchester’s digital hub The Sharp Project the company is predicting organic growth of around 30% for the rest of the year and into 2016.

The agency acquired SEO specialist, Just Search, last year and has reorganised the business since the deal, bolstering its offering with the introduction of social media, web build and more traditional PR services into the product portfolio.

Its Australian office based in Melbourne and the Ireland office based in Dublin have continued to show dramatic growth, the agency says, supported by “huge confidence in both these markets for the business”.

Digital Next employs 45 staff across its various offices and has a turnover around £2.5m, with the aim to go beyond £3m in the next 12 months.

Founder and chief executive Justin Blackhurst said: ‘’It was a huge move for us acquiring Just Search but we felt that we could integrate it within our business, which with a lot of hard work has proved to be the case.

“Our SEO teams gelled and their PPC team was a welcome addition for our clients. Together we have introduced social, PR and web development and clients from both Just Search and our existing portfolio have been grateful for it.

“There are very few clients we now offer single services to, the digital space has moved on from that and we now operate multi-channel marketing strategies for our clients. This in turn has led to us acting on behalf of larger clients and we currently act for a number of household names. Now we have consolidated we can concentrate on purely on a growth strategy in 2015-16 which may even include further acquisitions.’’
