Property briefs: Developer relocates; St George’s House & more

COMMERCIAL property developer db symmetry has signed up to Old Bank Chambers in Manchester city centre which will become its Northern headquarters.
The company has relocated from Grampian House on Deansgate to take 1,141 sq ft on a five-year lease at a rental of £15 per sq ft.
Situated just off Old Bank Street, the six-storey building comprises retail on the ground floor and office accommodation on the upper five floors. The deal means only 1,661 sq ft remains available.

TWO tenants have signed up to St George’s House in Manchester, taking the iconic building to 95% occupancy.
Investment company DS7 has taken 4,100 sq ft and Kagool Digitial Solutions has signed for 2,285 sq ft on the fifth floor in deals brokered by joint letting agents, DTZ and Cushman & Wakefield for Grade A Alternative.
The Peter Street building is now 95% let with only one suite of 2,500 sq ft remaining. Other tenants in the building include Red Star Financial, Stripes Solicitors and AFL Architects.
Grade A Alternative acquired the Grade 2 listed building, which totals 50,000 sq ft last year, and has carried out a refurbishment to provide office accommodation over seven floors.

HALE-based Braemar Estates has been appointed to manage Sadlers Park, a development by Countryside Properties on the site of the Sadlers Pottery works in Stoke-on-Trent.
Located in Burslem, the housing development consistsof 354 units, including houses, including townhouses, mews and apartments.
Braemar business development manager Diana Turner said: “We look forward to working closely with the directors of the residential management company and leaseholders to implement changes and improve the current condition of the development.”
