Appointments: Keoghs promotes; Innov8 & more

BOLTON law firm Keoghs has announced a number of promotions within its ranks.
New partner Katie Rose leads the internal appointments and becomes Keoghs’ 70th partner across its seven locations.
She joined the firm in 2010 as an assistant solicitor and enjoyed a rapid progression to associate within two years.
As one of Bolton’s biggest employers with over 1,050 members of staff, Keoghs have also promoted 14 employees to the role of associate across a range of divisions and offices.
They are Jodi Booth, Lindsay Bottomley, Vanessa Carr, Lauren Green, Rob Greenhough, Jenny Harrington, Jennifer Holt, Kieron Jones, Rachel Kowalyk, Richard Looker, Alice Martland, Leanne McKenzie Burgess, Laura Sales and Victoria Wadeson.

CONSTRUCTION industry specialist Innov7 is targeting the oil and gas sector after appointing a new safety adviser.
Innov8, which saw turnover leap from £440,000 to more than £700,000 in 2014, has appointed experienced health, safety and environmental manager Andy Black.
The Birkenhead and Manchester based firm delivers Construction Design Management (CDM) advice, principal designer support and site safety services.
Mr Black, a University of Reading graduate, has five years’ experience in the health and safety sector and recently returned to the UK after spending two years working in Australia and South East Asia.
Innov8 managing director Alan Robson said the new appointment will help the firm expand into new sectors, including oil, gas and hazardous environments.

THORNTON Hall, the Wirral hotel, has boosted its senior team with a new food and beverage manager.
Neil Sinnott , 34, joins from the Marriot Hotel in Liverpool city centre although isn’t a completely new face to the four-star Wirral hotel, having previously worked for Thornton Hall for 10 years from 1996 to 2006.
Geoff Dale, general manager of Thornton Hall Hotel & Spa said: “We’ve brought Neil in to ensure that the quality of the food and beverage offering across the hotel is to a very high standard. We’ve made no secret of our desire for more accolades following the appointment of executive chef Matt Worswick last year and Neil’s appointment strengthens our team in order to achieve that goal.
“He’s very experienced and incredibly passionate about what he does. It’s a pleasure to have him back and we’re excited to push forward with his help.”

Isle of Man-based Online Regional Travel Group has promoted former IT director Simon Goddard to chief executive .
Goddard joined the Company in 1999 originally as technical director of Wayfarers World Travel before becoming director of technology for the group as a whole in 2007.
He later became IT director in September 2011 with a responsibility for the company-wide technology and communications strategy including budgets and implementation.
