Start-up set for £250,000 revenue

BOLTON-based start-up Boo Coaching & Consulting is expected to achieve turnover of £250,000 after working with Business Growth Hub on its executive development programme.

The business provides executive coaching and leadership development alongside internal mentoring and coaching programme design, delivery and quality assurance.

The firm currently works with various NHS organisations across the UK providing leadership development for the public services and is looking to secure larger scale contracts during the second half of the year.

The executive development programme matched Boo Coaching & Consulting with Big Hand 4 Business which has helped the business to tailor its services allowing the firm to gain a stronger position in the marketplace.

Boo was founded at the end of 2012 and since working with the programme, has seen turnover increase by 67%.

Becci Martin, director of Boo Coaching & Consulting, said: “The executive development programme has transformed my business, both in terms of how I handle business internally, as well as growing Boo Coaching in the marketplace.

“We are now in a much stronger position to secure some new big contracts and I look forward to continue working with the Hub as we expand.”

Dawn Duggan, executive development manager at Business Growth Hub, added: “Often business owners such as Becci are caught up in the day to day operations of the company. Our programme offers executives the chance to take a step back and work on the overall strategy of the business. The firm now has a clearer focus and is expected to continue growing at a solid pace over the next few years.”
