Peel buys media company dock10

THE Peel Group has bought £23m turnover media services company dock10, based at Media City on Salford Quays.

Peel bought the remaining 50% shareholding of dock10, which employs 120 staff from SIS Ltd.

Dock10 chief executive Mark Senior said: ““I would like to thank SIS for its support as a shareholder since dock10’s inception in 2010.

“We have firmly established ourselves in that time as a major provider of services to the media industry.

“We have very exciting plans to grow the business further and look forward to working with The Peel Group to deliver these.”

Peel Group chief executive Steven Underwood said; “We are delighted to have increased our shareholding in dock10 and are very supportive of the management team’s ambitions for the future.

“The business is highly successful in its own right and also a fundamental part of the MediaCityUK story.”
