MERSEYWIDE refrigeration and air-conditioning specialist Flynn has been appointed as an official supplier for German refrigeration firm Roller.

As part of the deal, the £2.6m turnover Birkenhead business will act as a worldwide distributor for Roller’s marine and offshore products – which are typically fitted inside cold rooms on board vessels.

Flynn managing director Alex Flynn said the deal with the world-renowned Gerlingen-based firm, which specialises in the manufacture of fan coil units, air coolers and heat exchangers, further boosts Flynn’s product range.

“Roller has been a major player in the air-conditioning and refrigeration industry for more than 60 years,” he said. “This partnership boosts the quality and diversity of our extensive portfolio of products, which already includes thousands of new and re-conditioned components.”
