UP to six new jobs are being created at Brand Imaging Solutions as part of its move to a new building in Trafford Park.

Brand Imaging Solutions, an independent packaging design and marketing agency which specialises in brand and packaging solutions, has won support for its move from NatWest with a six-figure loan.

Clients include international brands, national retailers and start-ups.

The firm offers a range of services including creative, photography, illustration, artwork and pre-press. Brand Imaging Solutions also delivers flexographic platemaking – which allows for images to be printed on specialist items such as corrugated packaging materials or wide web film.

Mark Bent and Justin Jenkins started the business in 2005 and moved operations from Stockport to Manchester in 2009, operating from rented premises at Trafford Park.

The new unit at Avocado Court includes a 3,250sq ft studio area and new platemaking machinery in which the business has recently invested. Brand Imaging Solutions employs 28 people and the business is planning to create up to six new jobs over the next year.

Bent said: “We are continuing to grow and wanted to have our own space to develop the business as we need to. We are also developing our operations in Dubai so having our own space in Manchester will give us the resource we need to deliver in that region as well to our clients based in the North West, the UK and around the world.”

When the time came to obtain funding for the purchase, he turned to NatWest relationship director Guy Boxall for support.

Boxall said: “I was delighted to support Brand Imaging Solutions on its move to new premises. The business continues to grow and its strong leadership has a clear vision for its future. I wish them every success in achieving their future business aspirations.”
