Big demand for newly launched Ancoats homes

THE next phase of Platting Village – a large scale project to bring over 1,000 homes to the east of Manchester city centre – has launched to high demand.

Housebuilder Lovell has released the first homes at Bramah Place, which are initially being sold from the developer’s existing Faraday Green development just over the Rochdale Canal in Miles Platting.

Located in the up and coming neighbourhood of Ancoats, next to the trendy Northern Quarter, Bramah Place will eventually feature a total of 60 new homes for private sale targeted at first time buyers looking for an affordable alternative to renting in the city centre or more space.

The new properties will provide spacious layouts, gardens and parking, and high specification interiors with Manchester’s fantastic shopping and bustling nightlife on the doorstep.

Lovell (North West) regional sales manager Clare Noakes said: “We’ve been experiencing a high demand for homes at Bramah Place ahead of the launch and are excited to release the first wave of homes for sale.

“The property market in this part of Manchester has really taken off in recent months and it’s a great time for first time buyers to get onto the housing ladder as we are seeing prices take an upward turn.

“Those who reserve early off-plan could even find their property has increased in value by the time they move in. We’d urge anyone interested in the new homes to reserve now, at pre-show home prices, ahead of our show homes launch in early 2016.”

Lovell is planning to open two new show homes and a dedicated marketing suite at Bramah Place in February. Until then, plans for the development and property layouts can be viewed at the housebuilder’s neighbouring Faraday Green development, where the sales office on Ridgeway Street is open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm.

Noakes added: “We’re very proud to be part of such a huge regeneration project in East Manchester, an area that is enjoying ongoing investment. Platting Village is already a sought after address for professionals, families and first time buyers looking for a stylish brand new home so close to Manchester city centre.”

Platting Village will eventually include a number of new and refurbished green open spaces, including a new park running alongside the Rochdale Canal.

Prices on the new collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes at Bramah Place start from £124,950.

Situated within an established residential area, future residents of Platting Village will not only have an exciting new place to call home, they will be within easy reach of a host of local amenities including schools, Miles Platting and Ancoats Sure Start Children’s Centre, Victoria Mill and the sports facilities at Eastlands.
