Recruitment outsourcer sets up Manchester service centre

RESOURCE Solutions is to create 200 new jobs in Manchester with the opening of its newest global service centre in October.
It has taken 10,000 sq ft at Delphian House on New Bailey Street, to complement its existing global service centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Resource Solutions operates from a network of 24 countries globally, managing a recruitment budget of £1.7bn on behalf of clients and hiring more than 20,000 employees for them each year. The company is part of the Robert Walters Group, which has a base in Spiningfields.
The company said it had chosen Manchester for it’s global service centre because it had been “impressed” by the financial and professional service firms established in the city and also by the large numbers of students who are in full time education.
Janine Chidlow, MD EMEA at Resource Solutions, said:“We purposefully selected Manchester as we are confident we will find the skilled and dedicated recruitment professionals we need to make the GSC a success and maintain our focus on quality.”
She added: “As a group, we have an established footprint in Manchester, and we truly believe this is a city where we can successfully continue to grow our business.”
The company said the new centre would support its focus on global growth and evolving the services offered to clients.
“These are extraordinarily exciting times for Resource Solutions, as the rapid expansion of our business continues. Our success is driven by two key factors – our people, and the exemplary service we deliver to clients. The new GSC will support us in further strengthening both of these areas,” said Chidlow.
