Jump Nation revenue bounces to £2.5m

JUMP Nation is celebrating a record first year in business this September, after welcoming 260,000 jumpers through the door and securing a £2.5m turnover at its indoor trampoline arena in Trafford, Greater Manchester.

The company earned the reputation Europe’s largest indoor trampoline arena with its vast ‘bounce’ arena, made up of 139 interconnecting trampolines.

Inspired by trampoline parks in the US, Jump Nation founders Michelle and Matthew Ball found a gap in the UK market and were keen to develop a similar concept on their home turf.

The duo say that since opening, the opportunity has proved profitable, operating at 95% capacity at peak times and sell-out weekends becoming commonplace.

Michelle said said: “We have been blown away by Jump Nation’s success in its first year. Four and a half years ago, when we first developed the concept, we had no idea it would gather so much momentum.

“Jump Nation has filled a real gap in the market for a family-friendly activity with a strong health and fitness focus. We work hard to create an atmosphere that’s suitable for all ages, while appealing to the health and fitness-conscious. Indeed, our trampoline-based fitness classes continue to consistently sell out.

“The success of the park in Manchester has given us ambition to grow the brand across the UK and we look forward to announcing the opening of further sites later this year and into 2016.”
