Wormald back with Inflexion

FORMER LDC Manchester office chief Carl Wormald is back in the private equity game, 18 months after standing down.

He has joined LDC’s mid-market rival Inflexion as a partner based in its Manchester office on King Street.

He has been in the investment sector for 20 years, and led a number of key regional deals at LDC including British Salt, Fedex, National Accident Helpline and Bifold.

After graduating from his hometown Liverpool University with a degree in accounting and finance he qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG.

He said: “Inflexion has enjoyed significant growth over the last 15 years and its ambition and energy remain as strong as ever. For me, its main attractions are the can-do culture, the outstanding quality of its team and their desire to succeed.”
