£1m plus finance deal for Wirral developer

PROPERTY developer Leasebrick is building 22 affordable homes on The Wirral following a bank funding deal of more than £1m.
Leasebrick is an established property developer based in the area associated with a significant number of projects on The Wirral.
The scheme is its biggest project to date, under Moreton and will see a mixture of two and three bedroom homes complete by early 2016 and targeted at first time buyers looking to take advantage of the Government’s Help to Buy scheme.
This is being helped by a seven-figure finance package from the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Leasebrick managing director Mike Piercy said: “Our latest development has already witnessed a proportion of the 22 houses being sold off plan, which is set to increase as first time buyers realise that owning their own property is achievable and affordable.
“The bank has helped us address the shortage of housing available on the Wirral and we are grateful for their continued support over the last ten years.”
RBS senior relationship manager Chris Johnson added: “Working with experienced property developers, combined with our sector knowledge, is helping pave the way for affordable housing on The Wirral and assisting those potential purchasers to get their foot on the property ladder.
“We wish Mike all the very best as he brings this housing scheme to fruition and boosts the local economy with increased jobs across the construction industry.”
