New-look Bredbury Hall starts to take shape

WORK on the multi-million pound transformation of Bredbury Hall Hotel and Country Club has started.

It is the first stage of refurbishment of the iconic venue by Newco Ventures, which acquired Bredbury Hall in June.

The work is intended will give a more contemporary feel to the hotel’s public areas including the reception, while a new restaurant lounge area will provide a meeting place for business, social and family events with the new Brasserie Bar offering all-day dining and serving a menu of locally-sourced produce.

There will also be a new-look to Bredbury Hall’s nightclub which will see the addition of a Moroccan-style cocktail bar and lounge together with the creation of a new VIP lounge.

The initial investment being made has also led to the creation of 12 new jobs.

Newco Ventures policy is to use local suppliers for the hotel and catering services.  The new areas of the hotel and nightclub have been created by Stockport-based Vivo Interiors, whose experience includes design projects including the Light ApartHotel in Manchester and the Didsbury Lounge bar.

Mark Chambers of Onecall Hospitality, the hotel management specialist operating Bredbury on behalf of Newco Ventures , said: “A lack investment in recent years has seen Bredbury Hall failing to fulfil its potential and we are excited to see the realisation of our vision taking shape.

“We have had a positive reaction to the work and I am in no doubt that customers will welcome these changes. Bredbury will again be recognised for providing great service and facilities for the communities of Stockport and South Manchester.”
