CHARTERED accountancy firm DSG has strengthened its corporate team with the appointment of a new corporate business adviser.

The firm, which is headquartered in Liverpool and has offices in the North West and North Wales, has appointed Claire Roscoe-Dudley, an accounts and book keeping specialist, who joins the business from Airbus Operations in Broughton.

Roscoe-Dudley has a broad range of experience specialising in the preparation and management of accounts, VAT returns and Sage training. She will join DSG’s corporate business team and will be based at the firm’s Ewloe office.

She said: “I’m looking forward to being a part of the corporate team and working alongside our clients to understand how we can most benefit their business operations.”

WARRNGTON-based Inprova Group has appointed its first group director of marketing as it drives forward ambitious plans for the fast-growing business.

Niki Holt has joined the company – which provides procurement outsourcing services to a wide range of private and public sector clients in the UK.

She brings more than 20 years’ experience in delivering strategic growth and business performance improvement across a variety of sectors for organisations ranging from start-ups to large corporates.

Previous roles include Group customer planning manager at The Co-operative Group, executive director for partnerships at Keep Britain Tidy and head of sales and marketing at United Utilities.

FORMER managing director of Metro Bank Chris Brindley has been appointed chairman of the board of directors at Bury-based Total Swimming and sister company Total Gymnastics, joining former Olympic athlete Steve Parry who co-founded both businesses.
 
Brindley will provide strategic counsel in his role as chairman and bring his own commercial expertise to support large scale plans for both organisations.

Brindley, who is also the long standing chair of the County Sports Partnership, GreaterSport, said: “As a champion of grassroots sport, I recognise the importance of sport not just for enjoyment, but also for life, health and social skills. 

“I’m delighted to be appointed chairman of two innovative and forward-thinking organisations – working with Olympians Steve Parry, Beth Tweddle and Becky Adlington to bring about a revolution in swimming and gymnastics is an exciting prospect.”

BIRCH Green Care Home has expanded its senior team with the appointment of John Henderson as deputy manager.
 
Supporting general manager Carol Nickeas, Henderson will assist in the running of the Skelmersdale, Lancashire home.

Henderson, who joins Birch Green from the Mersey Care NHS Trust, has more than 21 years’ experience in the care sector, beginning his career as a nursing assistant before becoming staff nurse and charge nurse in the admissions and high dependency services.

He said: “The Springhill Care Group has a reputation as a leading care provider with first class facilities and services, so I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to the role and working with the staff and residents at Birch Green.”

THE Epstein Theatre in Liverpool has recruited a new ticketing and events Manager in the form of Heidi Birchall.

The 37-year-old has joined the team at the Hanover Street venue following several years in London working for major broadcasters including MTV.

She said: “The Epstein Theatre is entering a new chapter in its 102-year-old story, with more shows and a bigger selection of entertainment than ever before.

“There is a larger overall offering too, which sees us hosting more corporate events, such as meetings or exhibitions, as well as more personal and intimate occasions such as birthday parties and weddings.”
