BHS building in Liverpool bought for £17m

THE landmark BHS building in Liverpool has been acquired on behalf of a private client in a transaction worth £17m.
National law firm Freeths said it had completed the purchase on behalf of an unnamed buyer in one of the largest investment property acquisitions by a private party to take place this year.
Stephen Lewis, a partner in the real estate team in Freeths Manchester office, acted for the buyer in the purchase of the BHS building on Lord Street.
Commercial property consultants Mason Owen led the transaction, with director Simon Bland acting for the buyer. Gordon Dadds acted for the seller.
