Organised by Manchester-based Jepson Holt and Totuus Consulting,  Legal Services 2016 will look at the challenges facing legal businesses in the coming year.

Many firms are discovering that although the economy is benign and the economic climate is positive, they are struggling to improve productivity and profitability.

Phil Jepson event host, chairman of Jepson Holt and a director of Totuus said: “We are really looking forward to the event, demand for places has been strong.

“There will be ample post-event coverage on both TheBusinessDesk.com and on our website , so the key messages of Reinvention will be available to everyone, even if they can’t attend due to capacity constraints.”

Jepson added: “If law firms are to become more productive and profitable, they have to reinvent themselves. We are confident our speakers will  give law firm leaders real value and an understanding of what reinvention means.”

Speakers include Chris Moat, chief executive of AIM-listed Lancashire professional services company Fairpoint, which has acquired two firms over the last 18 months;  Clifton Harrison, head of marketing and business development at Eversheds;  Richard Hodkinson, chief technology officer at national law firm DWF; Chris Howe, a former commercial director of Addleshaw Goddard and  Charlie Keeling, former global head of HR at Clyde & Co.
