Liverpool LEP hosting investment summit

THE Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership and UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) are hosting an investment summit to promote opportunities available.

The event takes places on Thursday and aims to update and analyse those opportunities in the context of the emerging Northern Powerhouse agenda and the International Festival for Business 2016.

It will bring together representatives from leading businesses, academia and the public sector for a series of discussions and presentations detailing aspects of the local economy such as the Superport, Sci-Tech Daresbury and advanced manufacturing.

Mark Basnett, executive director of the LEP said: “Liverpool City Region has some outstanding inward investment value propositions in health science, digital, manufacturing, business services, Superport, low carbon and the visitor economy.

“This summit will hear from private sector leaders on the opportunity these present and explore how we can work collaboratively to realise their potential locally, nationally and internationally.”
