Jobs boost as exporter launches online brand

A LIVERPOOL food exporter is creating 40 jobs in an expansion drive which will see it launch an online brand.

Euro Foodbrands Export, based at Stonesbridge Park, is expanding its facilities and has launched Healthy Foods Online, which aims to provide healthy, ethically-sourced international foods to a global customer base.

 The growth will create an estimated 40 new roles, including warehouse, administration, marketing and IT roles. These will join the 20 staff who currently work in the Gillmoss factory.

The company received advice and support from Invest Liverpool, the city’s investment promotion agency and part of Liverpool Vision.

Michael Craven, sales and marketing manager said: “We are proud that the new platform enables us to create new employment opportunities and further job security for our existing staff.  

“Our Healthy Foods Online platform is a strategic asset for us and we are optimistic about the next stage. The support of Invest Liverpool was crucial as we navigated some of the complexities of our plan and settled on Liverpool as the focus of our expansion.”
