Industrial measurement firm expands into new premises

ELECTROSERVE+ has announced that it has purchased and relocated to larger new premises in Macclesfield.

The move for the company, whose full name is Electroserv Temperature Control & Sensors, comes as a result of positive business growth and funding support from Royal Bank of Scotland.

The new 3,000sq ft site on Lyme Green Business Park is providing the company with additional space needed to accommodate its expansion.

Renovation works have been ongoing over the last few months and now complete.

The premises offer Electroserv+ a host of facilities including a new workshop and calibration laboratory, ample warehousing space and new office facilities.

Acquired by present owners Field & Black Limited in 2013, Electroserv+ specialises in the distribution of industrial process measurement and control equipment as well as offering engineering services within this field.

The company has seen turnover increase by 140% in the last two years, from £500,000 to £1.2m.  Further growth of at least 30% is predicted for the coming 12 months along with the creation of ten new jobs.  This growth is as a result of new engineering and distribution contracts that the company has secured.

Royal Bank of Scotland has supported the purchase of the premises with a six figure commercial loan.

Roger Marsden, financial director of Electroserv+ said: “I am really excited about the new site and it is great to be finally in and operating from there.  The building is much larger than our previous home on Short Street and has provided us with lots more space for warehousing and office facilities.

Simon Parkinson, relationship manager at The Royal Bank of Scotland said: “Electroserv+ has grown impressively since the acquisition in 2013 and I am pleased that we have been able to support the drive to expand the company. The business has an excellent reputation and the new premises will provide plenty of space that the company needs as it continues to grow.”
