Engineering company launches in city centre office

ENGINEERING consultancy Alan Wood & Partners has embarked on its next phase of growth, opening its sixth regional office.

It has launched its Manchester office in Lowry House, between King Street and Market Street in Manchester M2.

Last year, the Hull-based company announced major growth plans. At the time it had a turnover of £6m, but with predicted 10-20% growth year-on-year, the firm is expecting strong results this year.

Director Andrew Russell is spearheading the new venture.

Nick Ward, managing director of Alan Wood & Partners, said the move into Manchester marked very exciting times in the business. “This new office supports the aspirational growth plans we have for our business and with Andrew at the helm we are confident it will be successful.”

“The Manchester construction market is buoyant at present and the outlook is very positive. I am excited to be taking on this new role and look forward to contributing to the continued growth and improvement of this vibrant city.”

Alan Wood & Partners provides design and advisory services in building consultancy. It employs 100 people across the company’s offices.
