CORPORATE lawyer Gareth McIntegart has joined expanding North West law firm Napthens.

Previously he was a partner at DLA Piper where he led the firm’s corporate team in Liverpool for three years.

He also spent 15 years at law firm DWF, following an early career which saw him work as an in-house lawyer with BAE Systems.

McIntegart joins the Napthens’ Corporate team and will use his 20 years’ experience in the Liverpool and wider North West markets to offer specialist advice to the firm’s existing clients and to further promote and develop the services of the firm, particularly across the Southport and Merseyside region where he is a well-known and respected member of the professional and financial services community.

The news comes soon after Napthens announced the opening of its Southport office, following the acquisition of Richard Jacklin & Co.

McIntegart said: “Napthens has a strong reputation in the region and I’m excited to be joining at a time when the firm is expanding, with its recently opened office in Kendal and now with Southport, a foothold into the Merseyside market.

“This increased geographic reach will be a real benefit to the firm and is an indication of Napthens’ commitment to the region.”
