Multi-million pound hotel scheme for former NHS building

HOTEL developer Signature Living is set undertake a multi-million pound transformation of the former home of NHS Liverpool’s Clinical Commissioning Group, One Arthouse Square into a high-spec apart hotel.

Signature announced it has acquired the building, adding to its growing property portfolio and taking the number of Liverpool accommodation beds to more than 1,500 and adding to the ongoing regeneration of the RopeWalks area.

Its development of the  multi-story 27,575sq ft site, situated will include a ‘unique’ dining offer and social space that will complement the mixed use and independent status of the area.

The company is also exploring a collaboration with the neighbouring Foundation for Art and Creative Technology (FACT) on the development and is consulting on the possibility of an art and film theme for the new venue.

Signature Living operates a number of hotels and apartments in Liverpool and has plans to expand into other major cities throughout the UK and Europe.
