Software firm opens in Delhi

A STOCKPORT-based software company is opening its fifth office overseas.

Arden Software, which has its headquarters in Marple, has opened an office in Delhi, India.

The company, which employs more than 45 people, supplies CAD and CAM software to the packaging industry.

This latest office launch – Arden Software Asia Pacific – marks the fifth international office for the packaging industry specialist, alongside its other locations in the UK, Germany, North America and Denmark.

Matt Hewitt, business development manager at Arden Software, said: “Arden Software works with thousands of customers across the world and the Asia Pacific region represents one of our fastest growing markets.

“Not only has our new office in India created three new jobs so far, but it also allows us to capitalise on this rapidly expanding market and better serve our current customers and resellers in the wider Asia Pacific region.”

Arden Software, which was established in 1988 from its Marple-based office on Shepley Lane Industrial Estate, specialises in the development of innovative CAD, manufacturing, enterprise and workflow management solutions for the print and packaging industry.
