Russells wins £2.2m Atlantic Park job

RUSSELLS Construction has won a £2.2m contract to refurbish a 35,000 sq ft office building at a business park in north Liverpool.
The Trafford-based contractor struck the deal with landowner Royal London Asset Management and development management partner Industrial Securities at the 800,000 sq ft mixed use Atlantic Park.
Formerly the offices of Rolls Royce, the redevelopment will see the building updated and converted into Grade A, open-plan space.
Russells will also be responsible for the internal fit out, mechanical and electrical engineering works and external landscaping during a 26-week programme.
Construction director Gareth Russell said: “We’re delighted to have secured this £2.2m contract with Royal London. We believe that building strong relationships with our clients, and delivering schemes on time and on budget, will result in them coming back to us time and again.”
Atlantic Park project is part-funded through £4.7m of grant funding. The scheme, which will see the development of 22 hectares on Dunningsbridge Road in Sefton, has received £3.1m from the European Regional Development Fund and a further £1.6m from the North West Development Agency.
