5 things to do in the North West this weekend

Classical at Castlefield Bowl 

Sounds of the City at Castlefield Bowl kicks off this weekend, with the fantastic Hacienda Classical headlining Saturday night. Hacienda Classical is Manchester Camerata working with the likes of classic Hacienda DJs Graeme Park and Mike Pickering and New Order bassist Peter Hook. A huge classical orchestra is set to take the stage, with a twist in store. Expect a few star guests too as the likes of Bez and Shaun Ryder have been regulars at previous shows. Liverpool to chester bike rideOn your bike!
Get your bike out of the shed on Sunday and take part in the Liverpool-Chester annual bike ride! Beer FestivalBeer O’clock
Head to The Venue in Cleveleys this weekend for an event they are hoping will become an annual occasion for the town: Cleveleys Beer Festival! At the event on the promenade and enjoy over 15 cask ales as well as a huge range of ciders and world and craft beers.
