Lights, camera, action for city’s latest theme bar

A NEW movie-themed bar at the heart of Liverpool’s Ropewalks district has opened.

The Arthouse Bar is hotel specialist Signature Living’s latest addition to the bustling Bold Street area.

The trendy bar is set inside Signature Living’s new movie-themed hotel One Arthouse Square just a stone’s throw from FACT cinema.

Signature Living says the restaurant/bar has been designed to really capture the black and white movie era and is complete with plush black booths and projectors that showcase various films onto the walls so that guests truly feel encapsulated in the iconic period.

To go with the design, a range of cocktails to fit the movie-theme bill have been created and named to tie in with different films including the Charlie Chapgin, Cherry Grant and the Marilyn Monroetini.

Signature Living co-founder Lawrence Kenwright said: “Arthouse Bar is a fantastic addition to Liverpool’s already booming social scene and will provide guests with both a fun-filled and truly unique experience.

“From the classic interior to quirky drinks and food menu, Arthouse Bar is definitely the latest place that guests can come to for a guaranteed great night out.”

Arthouse Bar is open seven days a week from 6pm to 2am.
