Innovation fuels growth at Jade

TECHNICAL innovation and expertise has seen Haydock-based Jade Solutions grow its turnover by an impressive 19% in 2015.
Jade, specialist in mobile enterprise and wireless infrastructure solutions, has also recorded a 250% rise in profits over the past two years, according to its latest financial results.
With turnover now more than £12m, the company is continuing to focus on the rise in demand for mobile devices and wireless capability.
Jade Solutions, which is building an enviable reputation in the UK and internationally, works with businesses like Eddie Stobart, Booker, 3M, GIST and NFT Distribution.
Finance director Peter Thomson said: “We are very pleased with the financial performance in 2015, which is a testament to both the business strategy and the professionalism and commitment of the whole Jade team.
“We have also taken the opportunity to employ additional staff in key areas of customer interface; sales, delivery and support.
“We have seen the benefit of the newer offerings, but there has been an increase in demand across the whole range of products and services that we offer.
“The results for the first half of 2016 are on plan, and we are positive about the direction of the company and the prospects for future growth.”
Driven by an increase in the deployment of IT solutions, particularly in retail, hospitality and logistics, Jade has a proven project management structure in place, which has already delivered fast-paced, multi-site roll-outs, for leading brands like McDonald’s.
Retail sector growth continues through the innovative CROWD brand – an award winning wi-fi business intelligence, marketing and analytics software developed primarily for the retail and hospitality market.
Last year Jade secured a 566 store, UK-wide roll-out of CROWD with footwear giant Clarks shoes.
David Mason, Clarks’ head of corporate solutions, said: “The CROWD solution provided by Jade has surpassed our expectations and is enabling us to deliver an improved consumer experience in all of our stores, driving additional revenues along with increased consumer and employee engagement.”
Jade is now working with companies like Nando’s, Foyles and Northern Rail, now providing free wi-fi to its passengers across its estate of stations using the CROWD platform.
The company is in the process of enhancing its current support offering to include a new customer portal, with an improved service desk, along with extended operating hours.
Jade’s managing director Mark Brackley said: “Rather than just being product focused we look to really understand the challenges and the environment of our customers and then we develop or provide solutions that can have real impact on their operation.”
