High-end Gusto chain breaks new ground with 50 jobs

CHESHIRE-based Living Ventures is set to launch its 17th Gusto restaurant and bar with the creation of 50 new jobs.

The high-end chain will open at the 4,304 sq ft former Monkey Tree bar in West Bridgford in the East Midlands.

Gusto is now a recruiting for management vacancies for its new outlet, which has an opening date of February 2017. A spokesperson for the company says that 50 jobs will be created.

The job advert reads: “With Victorian architecture and the River Trent running through this thriving restaurant town, West Bridgford will be a welcome addition to the Gusto estate.

“We are looking for all managers, at all levels with progression opportunities.”
The Monkey Tree closed down in February after its owners said the rates of £34,000 a year had become too expensive.

West Bridgford will be Gusto’s first in the East Midlands.
