STAMFORD House in Altrincham, Greater Manchester is now fully let with the final two retail units being taken by Homebird Interiors and Libby G Cakes.

Homebird has taken the unit on 1-5 Stamford New Road comprising 2,108sq ft on a 10-year lease.

It is the third Homebird shop to open following others in Wilmslow and Cheadle Hulme. The stores offer an eclectic mix of furniture, lamps, rugs and decorative items for the home.

Libby G Cakes has taken a five-year lease on the 7 Moss Lane unit comprising 750sq ft.

It makes and decorates all its own creations as well as yours, selling a tempting array of cakes from everyday treats to those for special occasions.
 
The restoration of this landmark building, by landlord and developer Petros, has enhanced the retail mix in Altrincham with its nine shops primarily let to independent retailers and its 24 loft style apartments on the three uppers floors are all let.

Daniel Lee of Regional Property Solutions, the letting agents, said: “The transformation of this former office block into shops and residential has been impressive.  It has certainly added to the retail offering and the town centre dynamic with more residents living at its heart”.

OBI Property has unveiled announced award winning architecture practice 3DReid has taken 2,381sq ft of office space at 26 Cross Street, Manchester on a 10-year lease with a break at year five.

The building has just 14,15 sq ft remaining over five floors and can accommodate requirements from 746sq ft.

3DReid, the practice behind One Angel Square and The Palace Hotel’s recent refurbishment, is moving its Manchester team of 15 from City Tower and will join Henry Boot and Tosca Fund in 26 Cross Street.
