Traffic Alert: Severe delays on M6 southbound
HIGHWAYS England is reporting severe delays on the southbound M6 between junctions 27 at Wigan and 20 near Macclesfield.
Motorists are being advised to divert from the M6 at junction 30 near Preston and follow the M61 towards Manchester.
They should continue anti-clockwise to the M56 following it westbound to its junction with the A556 and carry on along Chester Road to region the M6 southbound at junction 19.
