Tattu to open second restaurant

MANCHESTER-based Chinese restaurant and bar Tattu is to open a second site in Leeds.

Tattu will take a significant new lease on a site in the heart of the main bar district in Leeds, at the Minerva Building on East Parade, at the end of Greek Street in a unit opposite Blackhouse.

This is the second contemporary Chinese restaurant for Tattu, following on from its first in Spinningfields in Manchester, providing 180 covers in the 5,000 sq ft unit.

Adam Jones, owner and managing director of Tattu said: “We are looking forward to getting on-site in the New Year and creating a new and exciting Tattu for Leeds.”

JMW Solicitors, led by commercial property partner Tom Cressey, advised  Tattu on the new restaurant. Richard Shuttleworth at Pudney Shuttleworth contracted the deal for Tattu on behalf of Evans Property Group.
