Van rental firm celebrates 1,000 vehicles milestone

COMMERCIAL vehicle specialist Dawsonrentals is celebrating a major milestone with its Skelmersdale branch reaching a total of 1,000 vehicles on rent, making it the second largest depot in the country.

The achievement comes as part of a double celebration, as this month also marks the fifth anniversary since the Skelmersdale branch opening.

The depot has been vital to driving the growth of Dawsonrentals in the North West, being the only branch within the region.

Lisa Hampson, operations manager at Dawsonrentals said: “I am extremely proud of the team, led by Branch Manager Michael Rutter, for growing the Skelmersdale site from 40 vehicles to 1,000 on rent in the last five years.

“Looking forward, we will continue to provide the excellent customer service and support we are known for, as well as putting all our efforts into further expansion for the branch.”
