Apple growing at city shopping complex

APPLE is launching a new upsized store in Liverpool ONE’s South John Street.
The new store is twice the size of Apple’s previous unit on Paradise Street, which becomes home to Guess later this month.

Apple is the most recent in a series of upsizes and new additions to Grosvenor Europe’s Liverpool ONE’s line-up of leading brands.

Victoria’s Secret launched its 9,200sq ft store on South John Street, adjacent to Apple, in July, with the US-lingerie brand also selecting Liverpool ONE to create a new flagship.

On Paradise Street, Guess follows the opening of Jack Wolfskin and Rolex, with Urban Decay, Lindt and Smiggle currently fitting out their stores in time for Christmas.

Miles Dunnett, director at Grosvenor Europe, said: “Apple’s upsize is yet another great milestone for Liverpool ONE.  Their continued exceptional performance has driven their desire to not only create a larger store, but to deliver a unique retailing experience for visitors.

“Apple joins the ever-growing list of additions to Liverpool ONE, and by the end of the year, over 20 new stores will have opened, creating one of the most vibrant, exciting line-ups in the UK.”

The news also follows the exclusive launch of the Lego Ideas Beatles Yellow Submarine in Liverpool ONE’s Lego store on October 29.
