Business leaders score for charity in football derby

CHARITY The Factory Youth Zone is holding its very own version of the Manchester Derby tomorrow (November 4).

Taking place at Altrincham Football Club’s J Davidson Stadium, the match will see some of the biggest names in the Manchester business scene compete over 90 minutes to see who the real winners are.

Manchester United legend, Gary Neville, is managing the Reds on the day with Manchester City icon, Dennis Tueart, in charge of the Blues. Ex-Premier League referee, Chris Foy, is officiating the game.

Some of the names signed up to the United squad include Rob Cotton (NCC Group), Steve Bartlett (Social Chain) and Alex Russell (Property Alliance Group).

The City line-up features the likes of Pat Loftus (Deloitte), Steve Oliver (Music Magpie) and Danny Schweiger (Character World).

Chris Davis of Money Plus Group is the assistant manager for the Reds with Gary Tipper of Palatine Private Equity, the City number two.

The match is being held in association with sponsors OBI Property to raise funds for The Factory Youth Zone, providing disadvantaged children and young people from Manchester with essential support that can change lives.

Kick-off is at 3pm on Friday November 4, and cost £5.
