PHP buys Cheshire health facility for £10.1m

PRIMARY healthcare facilities investor Primary Health Properties has acquired New Alderley House in Macclesfield for £10.1m.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of PHP has bought the 35,000sq ft building – currently let to East Cheshire NHS Trust and NHS Properties for a remaining term of 16 years.

The building adjoins Macclesfield District General Hospital campus and accommodates a range of primary care services and NHS operations.

The acquisition increases PHP’s portfolio to a total of 295 assets, including one property in the Republic of Ireland, with a gross value of £1.2bn.
