San Carlo to launch Neopolitan pizza outlet

Italian family-owned San Carlo Group has announced it is to open a new concept, Pizza Madre by San Carlo, opposite its flagship San Carlo restaurant on King Street West, Manchester.

Pizza Madre will serve a range of traditional Neapolitan pizza cooked in a wood burning oven and a selection of rotisserie chicken. The bar will serve a selection of Italian artisan beers alongside great value wines.

The restaurant is set to open late spring, following a major refurbishment of the site at 47 King Street West, Manchester.

Marcello Distefano, managing director of San Carlos,  said: “We’re excited to be bringing a very new and different concept to Manchester and look forward to revealing more soon.”
