CBRE shuffles management team

CB RICHARD Ellis has shuffled its management team in the North.

Christine Hanson is stepping up to fill the newly-created role of CBRE chair for the North – including the offices in Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Sheffield, from her post as North West managing director.

She is succeeded by John Ogden, a former MD in Leeds, whose post has in turn been filled by Richard Sunderland.

Martin Samworth, CBRE managing director, said: “Christine has been with the company for 27 years and by stepping up to the newly-created role of chair of CBRE in the North, she will bring her vast experience and knowledge of the business and local market to bear.

“John has done a remarkable job in our Leeds office, excellently supported by Richard Sunderland, and I know he will bring with him great expertise to lead the company’s offer in Manchester.”

The firm has also announced that Tom Davis and Howard George, currently senior Directors in CBRE’s industrial teams in Manchester and Liverpool respectively, will be leaving the business in November.

Christine Hanson said: “I would like to thank Tom and Howard for their contributions to CBRE and wish them all the best for the future. CBRE’s industrial capabilities in the North are already recognised as market leading with a good team already in place, and with the acquisition of M3 earlier this year we have further strengthened our presence in this sector in our region.”
