Timpson Group and Out There Events announce joint venture
NORTH West event management company Out There Events is merging with the Timpson Group.
Out There Events, which is based in Abito, Salford and Timpson’s Chester-based MSS business, which supplies technical and production equipment are becoming one company, which will be owned equally by both parties.
While the Out There name will be retailed the business will become part of the Timpson Group.
The enlarged business will be led by Out There managing director Marcie Incarico, while John Timpson, chairman of Timpson, and his son James, its MD, will join the board.
The company will be based out of Timpson House in Wythenshawe but will retain warehouse and workshop facilities on the existing LSS site in Chester. All 10 staff currently employed by Out There Events and LSS will remain with the new company.

Having the in-house theming and production capabilities will give an added dimension to our current service offering and I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
