More in store at Lidl for Styles & Wood

RETAIL fit-out group Styles & Wood has completed its first project in the value end food retail sector.

The Altrincham-based firm has fitted out a new Lidl store in North Tyneside which was part of a mixed use retail and residential development.

Food retail is a key market for Styles & Wood and chief executive Ivan McKeever said it marks the group’s entry into the market for value end retailers.

He said: “We are an established player in food retail and our team has an excellent reputation for delivery in this sector, hence this move is a natural fit for the group.

“Our team has very much enjoyed working with Lidl on the project. We hope to further strengthen this relationship in the future as Lidl continues its store expansion programme.”

Graham Mair, construction executive of Lidl, added: “We have been impressed by the quality and timely delivery of Styles & Wood’s work. This store opening demonstrates our exciting UK store expansion plans for Lidl and shows that there are employers out there who are recruiting in the current economic climate.”
